Students Bursary Fund PDF Print E-mail

Islamic Focus, in conjunction with local businessmen, is in the process of launching a Zakaat bursary fund for qualifying students who excel academically in Port Elizabeth.

The Fund will initially help students at Nasruddeen and Azhar Muslim schools in Port Elizabeth. We hope to cover these students' fees all the way through to tertiary level. The Fund will operate in conjunction with the relevant schools: they will do the screening of students and provide their academic results.

Qualifying students must show academic  ability, the long-term goal being that once they become adults they can continue the cycle by helping the next generation.
