Moulana Ismail Kathrada related that once Moulana Maseehullah Khan rahimahullah asked his young son whether he collected anything. When his son replied in the negative, Moulana Maseehullah asked if he wanted to collect stamps as he got letters daily from around the world.

The Teacup

A couple spotted an exceptional teacup they asked to examine. As the owner handed it to them, the teacup spoke: ‘I have not always been a teacup. There was a time when I was a lump of clay. My master pounded and patted me. I cried out, ‘Don’t do that!’ But he said, ‘Not yet.’

The Doctor

A doctor entered the hospital in hurry after being called in for an urgent surgery. He answered the call as soon as he could, changed his clothes and went directly to the surgery block. He found the boy’s father in the hall.

I was convinced I was right and he was wrong, and he was just as convinced I was wrong and he was right. The teacher decided to teach us a very important lesson.
