Darya-ye Noor Diamond: One of the Crown Jewels from Iran. It is pale pink, exceptionally rare in diamonds. It was part of a larger stone in the throne of Mughal Emperor Shah Jehan.

A hand cannon is an early form of firearm. It is possibly the oldest type of portable firearm. It is a forerunner of the handgun as well as muskets and later rifles. While the exact origins are unknown, it is known that hand cannons were used in the Battle of Ain Jalut in 1260 by Muslim forces against the Mongols.

There are 8,000 words and some 2,300 place-names of Arab origin. After Latin, Arabic made the greatest contribution to the Spanish tongue.
