World Protests Israeli Slaughter PDF Print E-mail
UN Security Council condemned Israeli killing of civilians in an attack on a humanitarian aid convoy headed to the Gaza Strip. The UK ambassador called for Isarel's siege of Gaza to be lifted. Israeli soldiers stormed the ships in international waters. There were mass protests across the world. Thousands marched in Istanbul, London and Amman among other cities, denouncing the deadly raid, with world leaders adding their condemnation. (Al Jazeera, 1 June 2010)

Israeli forces attacked a flotilla of ships carrying 10,000 tons of aid aiming to break the Jewish siege on Gaza. 20 civilians were killed and dozens injured when troops stormed the Freedom Flotilla. (Press TV, 31 May 2010)
Palestinian Kids Abused PDF Print E-mail
An international children's rights charity, the Geneva-based Defence for Children International  says it has evidence that Palestinian children held in Israeli custody have been subjected to sexual abuse to extract confessions from them. They collected 100 sworn affadavits from Palestinian children who said they were mistreated by their Israeli captors. (Al Jazeera, 31 May 2010)
