Soldiers Testify to Jewish War Crimes in Gaza PDF Print E-mail

A human rights group founded by Israeli veterans has collected damning testimonies of war crimes from Jewish soldiers who took part in the genocide in January against Palestinians in Gaza. Israel approved the construction of 50 new housing units in an illegal Jewish settlement in occupied West Bank.This is contrary to a demand by Israel's major ally and backer, the US, that it stop all settlement activity on occupied Palestinian land. A charity in the Saudi capital Riyadh is offering an all-expenses-paid wedding to encourage young men to quit smoking. Hundreds of men expressed interest in the anti-smoking drive. The high expense for a wedding means that Arab men often put off marriage until they have saved enough money to take a bride. (BBC, 29 June 2009)

Qatar to Buy Stake in Porcsche or VW PDF Print E-mail

The Gulf state of Qatar is considering buying a big stake in either Volkswagen or its majority owner Porsche. The Qatar Investment Authority is in advanced talks about buying up to 25% of Porsche. This follows the purchase in March by Aabar, an Abu Dhabi state investment fund, of a 9.1% stake in German carmaker Daimler for 1.95bn euros. (BBC, 9 June 2009)

Israeli spy rings have been rapidly broken up in southern Lebanon in the last two months. 21 agents have been charged and dozens arrested over spying for Israel. (Al Jazeera, May 29, 2009)

Palestinians Face Severe Water Shortages PDF Print E-mail

World Bank report blames Jewish restrictions for severe water shortages in Palestinian areas. Palestinians get only a quarter of the water Jews have access to. The West Bank and Gaza are completely dependent on scarce resources controlled by Jews. In Gaza 150,000 Palestinians have no access to tap water at all. Several wells were destroyed during the Jewish offensive this year. Since then only three out of 80 trucks with spare parts and pipes for the water system have been allowed to enter Gaza.
