|United Ulama Council of South Africa|
The United Ulama Council of South Africa (UUCSA) was established in 1994 to unify, coordinate and represent the Muslims of South Africa on a national and international level, especially in matters concerning the South African government.
UUCSA represents the major Ulama bodies of South Africa. The founder members were the Muslim Judicial Council, Jamiatul Ulama South Africa (formerly Transvaal), Jamiatul Ulama KZN, Sunni Ulama Council, Sunni Jamiatul Ulama. These were later joined by the Eastern Cape Islamic Congress and the Council of Ulama Eastern Cape. Among the objectives is to foster unity and coordinate Muslims.

Dealing with the national call for compulsory HIV testing for marriages
Interacting with UNISA to accommodate Muslim students with regards to exams on Fridays
Serving as a member on the National Religious Leaders Forum
