Weakness

The Prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam once informed Allah about feeling weak, and was advised to eat meat cooked in milk.

 

Colic

The Prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam said: ‘The eating of figs prevents colic.’

 

Stomach Ailments

Abu Bakr radhiallahu anhu reports: ‘Amongst the better dates is the Burnee date … it removes stomach ailments and is harmless.’

 

Mind

The Prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam said: ‘O people! Make a habit of eating marrow (any pumpkin) for it strengthens the mind.’

 

Grieving Heart

The Prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam advised Aeysha radhiallahu anha: ‘O Aeysha! When you cook a meal, add marrow to it, for it strengthens a grieving heart.’

 

Pomegranate

The Prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam said: ‘Every pomegranate contains a drop from the water of Paradise.’ Among the cures it has is purifying the blood.

 

Grapes

The Prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam was fond of grapes. Among the things it does is strengthens the kidneys.

 

The Prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam has also listed black seed, garlic and bitter orange (the known equivalent is grape fruit) as a cure for diseases.
